Fall Events

  • Utah State Fair 9/5-9/15 Open from 10am-11pm weekends and weekdays 12pm-10pm. Carnival hours start at 11 am weekends and 1pm weekdays. Admission is $10, Kids $8, Under 5 is free. Parking lot costs $10 and is cash only. You can get Ride Wristbands for $20-$28
  • Greek Festival (Salt Lake City) 9/6-9/8 11am-11pm Admission is $3 Children 5 and under are free.
  • Utah Brazillian Festival (Orem) 9/14 1pm-7pm
  • Night Lights: Sky Lantern Festival (Utah Motorsports Campus) 9/21 4:30-10:30pm Admission is $21 or you can find tickets on Groupon.
  • Peruvian Food Festival (South Jordan) 9/27 4pm-10pm 9/28 12pm-10pm Enjoy food and live music.
  • Sunflower Festival at Hee Haw Farms 9/6-9/14 Open weekdays 4-8pm and Saturday 10am-8pm. Admission is $8 per person and includes a hayride around sunflower field as well as entrance into small corn maze.
  • Gardner Village Witchfest starting September
  • Brigham City Peach Days  September
  • Oktoberfest (Snowbird) Weekends 9/1-10/20 from 12pm to 6pm. Free Festival with lots of food vendors and special events.
  • Pumpkin Nights (Salt Lake City) 10/10-11/2 5:30-10:30 Utah State Fairpark $20 Adults $16 Kids 3 and under Free
  • Harvest Festival at Petersen Family Farm (Riverton) Saturday October 13th 9am-4pm. Lots of activities including face painting, pony rides, pumpkin patch, fresh baked goods, food trucks, and more. Admission tickets can be purchased in advance.
  • Saratoga Springs Fall Festival (Shay Park) 10/4 5-8pm Event includes free train rides, games, trick or treating, petting zoo, inflatables, food trucks and more.
  • Hogle Zoo BooLights (Salt Lake City) Weekends in October from 6:30pm-9:30pm Admission is $12.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids. 2 and under is free.  Boo at the Zoo 10/26 come in your costume and go trick or treating around the zoo 9am to 3pm free with admission to zoo.
  • Haunted Aquarium (Draper) The whole month of October 10am to 5pm. Daily scavenger hunt, skeletons diving with sharks Tues at 10:15. Trick or Treating at the Aquarium 10/25,26, 27, 31.
  • Thriller at Odyssey Dance Theater multiple locations, times, and prices.
  • Halloween Hoot (Salt lake City) 10/27-10/31 Tracy Aviary kids with costume get in free.

Pumpkin Patches and Corn Mazes

  • Cross E Ranch (Salt Lake City) Open 9/20-11/2 from Mon-Thurs 4-9pm, Frid 2-10pm, Sat 10am-10pm. Admission is $11.95 adult, $9.95 kids, under 2 is free.  Hay rides, apple cider donut shop, kettle corn shop, Carmel apple shop, and mini wagon train.
  • Wheeler Historic Farm Pumpkin Days (Murray) Open dawn too dusk daily. Admission is free to see the animals and walk the trails. They have several activities that you can pay for. Cow milking demonstrations at 5pm $1 per person, Farm house tours at Mon-Fri 11am and 1pm need to make a reservation, wagon rides $2 for kids and $3 for adults 10am-6pm.
  • Mabey’s Pumpkin Patch (South Jordan) Open 9/28-10/31 from Mon-Sat 10am-8pm. Admission is free.  They have a huge selection with over 45 different varieties and 14 acres of pumpkins. Lots of backdrops for cute fall photos.
  • Crazy Cornmaze (West Jordan)
  • Petersen Family Farm (Riverton) Open 9/29-10/31 from 9 am to dusk Monday-Friday activities start at 5pm. Saturday Activities start at 9am. Activities include wagon ride, apple slingshot, old-fashioned popcorn crank. They do farm field trips in October from 9:30-12:30 there is a 10-15 min farm lesson a 15 minutes wagon ride and then 30 min to explore the farm, corn maze, animals, tractors, and the field trip includes a 4-5lb pumpkin from the patch.   • Kuwahara’s Pumpkin Patch (Draper) Family owned and ran farmers market open 9am-7pm.
  • Cornbelly’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest (Lehi) Located at Thanksgiving Point this is a huge commercial fall attraction in Utah County. They are open  Mon-Thurs 4-10pm with admission of $13.95. They are open Fri-Sat 10am-12am with admission $19.95. You can buy a Season Pass for $62.95. Children 2 and under Free. Members receive 25% discount.  They have a 12 acre corn maze, candy corn train, cow train, over 50 fall activities and carnival games. On weekends they do Fireworks and Monday nights and Saturday mornings there is a parade. Click here for the calendar.
  • Evan’s Family Farm (Lehi)
  • The Pumpkin Patch Carlisle Gardens (American Fork) 10am-9pm
  • Hee Haw Farms & Corn Maze (Pleasant Grove) Farm opens 9/27-11/2 Mon-Thurs 4-9pm Fri 4-10pm Sat 10am-10pm. Admission is $10, children 2 and under free. Pick your own pumpkin patch, hayrides, petting farm, corn maze, silo slide, corn cannon,  giant slide, animal train, corn box, zip line and more.
  • The Pumpkin Patch (Orem) Open  10/1/10/31 Mon-Sat 10am-8pm. Free Admission and Free activities as well as a Free Halloween Hayride every Monday and Friday 6-8pm. Phone 801-473-7291 Address :1541 Sandhill Road Orem, Ut 84058
  • Wilkerson Farm (Orem) Open 9/13/11/2 10am-9pm Mon-Sat. No entry fee to pumpkin patch but all Fair activities and rides is $9.50 per person, 4 an under are free. This includes corn maze, Milly’s mini hay bale maze, farmyard animal range, shotgun slides, windmill swing ride, fruit salad teacup ride, apple slingshot, and grandpa’s tractor hayride.
  • Jaker’s Jack-O-Lanterns (Springville) Open 9/28-10/31 from 9 am to dusk. Admission is $4 per person, 2 and under free. It includes hay ride, petting zoo, corn maze, straw maze, corn fountain, big corn pit, tube slides and huge slippery slide.
  • Glen Ray’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch (Spanish Fork) Open from 9/27-11/2 Mon-Thurs 4-9pm Fri 12pm-11pm Sat 10am-11pm. Admission is $8 and includes kiddie corral, petting zoo, corn pit, small hay maze, straw pyramid, slides, rodeo, pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides and cow train. Children 2 and under free. Can buy individual hay rides for $2 each.

Apple Picking

  • Farnsworth Farms – 11228 S 700 E, Sandy – Phone 801-571-7119 – Fresh apple cider that is milled on site! Call and confirm for U-Pick Days.
  • Green Acres Farm – 12702 S 900 E, Draper – Phone 801-501-0910 – This is a pesticide free farm. Open 7 am-7 pm Monday through Saturday from September through November. 27 U-pick apple trees.
  • Burgess Orchard – 645 Alpine Hwy, Alpine – Phone 801-5546317 – This long time fruit stand offer their apples and apple juice starting in September. You can even preorder and they will send you a confirmation when your varieties are ready.
  • Allred Orchards – 2109 North University Ave, Provo  – Phone 801-377-0748 Open 9-6 M-F 9-5 Sat. This is a retail location for their Payson farm. Approximate apple season is August through October.
  • McMullin Orchards -5625 W 12000 S, Payson – Phone: (801) 465-4819 Fruit Stand with apples, peaches, and pears, and cherries.
  • Rowley’s Red Barn – 901 S 300 W, Santaquin – Phone 801-754-5511 – Rowley’s believes in keeping their homegrown apples in a large refrigerated room to keep them as fresh as possible.
